Playing airsoft is a great way for military and law enforcement personnel to conduct simulations of operations. This is not just a theory; the United States Army and several police precincts do employ the use of airsoft guns in training. This is a good method of practicing maneuvers without putting anyone's life at risk. Imagine trying to practice with real bullets; it wouldn't be pretty.
Training with airsoft is also very economical, and the ammunition and equipment is much less expensive than the real thing. In this tough economy, both the Federal and State governments need to save as much money as possible, and this is a novel way of doing that.
